When my brother tried to get me interested in joining this site, I was not interested at all, as I always thought these kind of websites to be a little obscure.!
He showed me one or two profiles and persuaded me to join.In the meantime my `husband to be` also joined after his dying wife showed him a few ladies and persuaded him to join as she wanted him to get on with his life after her death.(He cared and nursed her for 19 years, having cancer)
I met wonderful, wonderful people on this site, and changed my mind about my thoughts on sites like this. I learned a lot, had lots of fun, and met my match before the end of my three month subscription!
Late one night(the time when the lonely ones don`t want to go to bed!) he contacted me. We started communicating, and we fell in love over the internet! We committed to one another, even before we met physically...
On his way from another country, he saw to it that I would be well looked after if something should happen to him, we bought `the ring` before we even spoke about marriage... it was all crazy and bizarre!
As he stopped next to the road where we decided to meet, he started laughing with joy, We just KNEW.... and kissed like two people been away from one another for a long time. We both decided to take it slow, but after two weeks back in his country, he phoned and told me to pack....he`s coming to fetch me in two weeks time...
I packed....
and left my country..... two months later we got married..We are extremely happy, for we cherish and realise the privilege of having a second chance. Some nights we are still stunned, emotionally wonder about how we nearly missed one another.For neither of us wanted to join `websites like this`.
He is a wonderful caring husband, and we spoil one another to death! I would recommend anybody who wants to find a life partner again to join...it will be your choice who you want to allow to contact you or to get rid of the trash. There are a lot of good men out there, and I would like to thank everyone who played a part in my heeling process, finding trust again, and for having lots and lots of fun, filling the lonely hours...I salute all of you!!!!
